Hi!
Today's Adventures in Stamping Sunday theme was summer nails, and I decided to go a bit beachy. I used to live in Cornwall and it was a few minutes drive in any direction to get to the most beautiful beaches, but now I'm pretty landlocked and I miss it. So what better way than to bring the beach to my nails! I used sooooooo many polishes for this manicure - starting with one coat of Barry Greenberry Gelly and then two of Seventeen Turquoise from their new Juicy Neon collection. To me, they don't seem very neon, but pretty summer polishes none the less. I then added a dabbed on coat of a blue glitter by Technic called Mermaid before letting that all dry with a coat of Poshe. The accent nail is Models Own Bora Bora and ELF Golden Goddess. Once that was ready I stamped seashells from Cheeky plate CH 38 in Konad white on the accent nail, and Barry M Gold Foil on the blue nails. In hinsight, I should have used white, or maybe blue, on the "sea" nails, as the stamping is hard to make out. I tehn added more Bora Bora and Golden Goddess to imitate sandy tips. It is really pretty, even though the stamping errs on the subtle side!
Pretty and sparkly summer nails!
I have a very exciting post scheduled for tomorrow morning, and you'll definitely want to check it out so see you soon!

NOTD - Riveting plus Stripes!
Hi!
Yesterday I showed you China Glaze Riveting and I loved it so much that I didn't want to take it off after a day, even though I had a little tip wear. I so used a black striper and gave it some stripes of varying thickness to eek it out for another day!
I used a Technic striper that I picked up in Bodycare (a budget version of Superdrug/ a pharmacy) in a set of three for £1.99. They're not fantastic, but for a simple design like this it was fine. I'll review them properly soon, for anyone wondering about them!
Sadly, I had to remove Riveting completely after another day, but I couldn't resist a pedicure with it first!

Purple Crumpet Spring Challenge - Day 5, A "Spring Clean"
Hola!
Today's PCFC was to go Spring cleaning and use an out of season colour. I started with two coats of Technic Curious Violet, which looks like a deep plum in the bottle, a dark indigo swatched on paper and plain black on the nail. meh. Anyway, I decided to try something I'd seen on the Facebook stamping group, Adventures in Stamping. Firstly, I applied matte top coat to the polish, and stamped in the same colour - the idea being that the stamped image would be shiny and the background matte. I really like the outcome, but man was it hard to get on camera!
I love the subtleness of this. It looks like flocked wallpaper or something!
Tomorrow's challenge is pink polka dots, and I got a gorgeous pink in one of my birthday club packages this morning so I can't wait to use it. My finger is a little better now, although I'm still only painting one hand and typing like a spaz, so sorry if there are typos!

Sorry this is so washed out! But you can see the stamping best here.
