Morning!
Please excuse me if I ramble a bit today, I'm delirious with flu and trying to organise a 6 year old's birthday. Don't you just love it when they change their minds? Anyway, onto the nails and today's theme is Mexican. Well, to me that either means fajitas or sugar skulls, so I went for the latter. I created my cute little sugar skull accent with some fimo flowers and a bow, an upside-down heart rhinestone for the nose and used a dotting tool and striper for the mouth. I stamped some flowers on my index finger and used Darling Diva Polish Sugar Rush over black on the rest. Here's how it came out.
Not sure how I feel about these. Cute? Childish? Silly? I'm glad I only did a sugar skull accent!
If I survive the birthday tomorrow, I'll be back on Friday with some texture!

Purple Crumpet Spring Challenge - Day 9, Spring Peach
Morning!
Day 9 and the challenge was favourite Spring lilac or peach. I chose peach since I don't have a lot of lilacs and what I do have you've seen already. Plus I got the polish I used in one of my Birthday Club presents from the lovely Ashley and I wanted to wear it! This is two coats of China Glaze Peachy Keen. Yum!
Then I added some fimo flowers to the ring fingers, so I did get the lilac in somewhere!
I'm getting better at slicing the fimo now, but they still don't lie as flat as I'd like them. Better practise some more...

NOTD - Lemon and Lime
Hi!
Today I have a Rimmel I <3 Lasting Finish Fruity scented polish to show you. The colour on this one is lovely, soft buttery yellow, a little streaky and uneven but three coats sorted it (come on, it is a yellow) and actually looked good against my skin. But oh my days the smell! DO NOT BUY this polish if you're only interested in the scented aspect. It smells less like lemons and more like rotten melon. Thankfully, it's a not a strong scent and with top coat I could only smell it if I really tried. I'm not sure how dupable it is (Barry M Lemon Ice Cream might be close) but it is unique in my stash otherwise the smell alone would make me get rid. And I never get rid of polish!
Anyway, this is three coats of Lemon Drop, plus some fimo slices and lots of Seche Vite.
I wore this for two days but by the middle of day two I was picking at the fimo. Think the other half got one in his dinner....
Anyway, what do you think of scented polish? Bit of fun or silly gimmick?
