Today I have another glow in the dark beauty from Lacquerdaisical to share with you! Or more specifically, the Alexia of Lacquerdaisical's hubby, who is the mastermind behind Kiweeeeee! Kiweeeeee has a pale green jelly base which glows in the dark (squee!) with hex glitters in black white and yellow, just like a kiwi. Random fact about me, I am allergic to kiwis and even though I love them they make my tongue swell up and my throat close, which is not a good look! At least I can wear them on my nails ;) I wore two coats of Kiweeeeee over an opaque pale green cream, and stamped some kiwi-esque circles on my accent finger (I could have sworn I had a kiwi stamping plate, but I don't. I would have bet my first born on it...good job I didn't!) The formula is a little thick and can drag on the second coat, but just leave an extra minute between coats and you're good to go. It dries semi-matte, but nothing topcoat can't solve and the glitters are perfectly smooth and not at all thirsty.
Now the best bit! To 'charge' Kiweeeeee's glow in the dark pigment you just need some sunlight, but I used my LED lamp once it was dark out so I could get a good glowing photograph! Look at it glow! I love how it really makes the glitters pop!
Lacquerdaisical Kiweeeeee (and all of their other polishes) are available to buy from the Facebook page and their brand spanking new Big Cartel shop! Prices start at just £2.50 for the mini sizes and there are some really lovely, original polishes - duochromes, glitter, holos, textures - all you could ever want from an indie polish brand!
